I want to encourage all of you road warriors to consider posting your thoughts and hard earned advice here to share with some of the newer folks. I have always valued the comments and varied experience gained by my 30 year plus association with all of you and I believe most of you would also like to pass them on. Remember we worked hard to get to where we can survive on the road and it is not in the best interest of our professions to keep the good ideas to ourselves. Come on Guys and Gals, SHARE. Here is a fun way to blog some useful thoughts without having your own website. |

As a reminder, we are primarly an on-line address book and encourage sharing of information (networking) with each other as often as possible. With that in mind we have been asked if folks that are retired or not working in the industry can be listed. The answer is YES. Actually we will put "retired" in the banner area at no charge for those of you who would like to stay in touch with past co-workers and friends. In the free application section just list yourself as retired. If you decide to return to work just re-submit your new status. An excellent way to keep up with your friends and you may be supprised how many of us remember you and would like to say "hello". |

Most companies in the personnel recruiting arena use Word as the preferred attachment document for your resume (Caution, if you have Vista installed on your computer it is suggested you save and send these documents in a Word 97-2003 .doc format).
ALL reputable companies will contact you personally to clarify your experience and obtain permission before submitting you for a possible opportunity.

Hello all I wanted to say Happy New Year and check in on Wally's site to see how things are. Looks like we need to start pumping more traffic this way and try to get some recruiters to post some quality jobs. The site still looks good Wally Keep it up.
